A panel discussion led by renowned talents in the fields of design and architecture who explored the history, future and current state of the Italian design industry. In partnership with the esteemed Istituto Marangoni, I-MADE hosted a conversation that looks into the relationship between Italian manufacturing, design and education with a view to what the future may hold. Looking at the heritage of the region, we look at how that translates when discussing topics around sustainability, consumer shifts and education.

I-MADE’s official media partner, INTERNI Magazine celebrated Italian design with a panel discussion dedicated to exploring the excellence of ‘Made in Italy’ and the expertise of Italian craftsmanship and manufacturing techniques. Moderated by Deyan Sudjic, Director of London’s Design Museum, this stellar line-up of Italian and British design icons discussed the way design, art and architecture diverge to create contemporary urban spaces as well as addressed how design principles can be applied to values such as sustainability, innovation and bespoke craftsmanship.
